WHAT IS ONLINE SCHOOLING?
Quest Academy of West Little Rock Online is a fully-accredited, ResponsiveEd®, tuition-free online public school for students in grades 6–12.
Quest Academy of West Little Rock Online gives your family access to the curriculum and the online learning platform to help you or your student receive the support they need to be successful. Families will need to purchase school supplies for some courses, just as they would in a brick-and-mortar classroom. Any optional field trips organized by the school’s local community coordinators would be the only other outside expense.
Quest Academy of West Little Rock Online uses the BrightThinker curriculum. Students can learn at home, on the road, or wherever they have an Internet connection. Attendance, teacher interaction, and daily lessons are conducted online. Students work with their teachers to facilitate learning and achieve the academic goals set in each student’s personalized plan for learning.

STUDENTS WE SERVE
Quest Academy of West Little Rock Online is a 21st-century school serving students in grades 6-12. We use technology to allow students to accelerate beyond the instructional pace of the classroom. Instruction is a mix of teacher-directed, project-based, and independent learning.
Individualized learning will be a shared process between the teacher and the student. Teachers, in collaborative groups, will focus on developing a learning path for all students. Projects may include science labs, observations, oral presentations, essays, and cross-curricular units.
Students who experience social anxiety caused by other stress-related conditions associated with being at a large traditional school tend to thrive at Quest Academy of West Little Rock Online. Those who are focused on academics can usually graduate ahead of schedule.
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA VS. GED®
High School is a huge part of life for most people. They show up, pass their classes, receive a diploma, then make plans to head off to college, join the workforce, or serve in the military. As common as this traditional path is for some people, for others it is not so simple. At Quest Academy of West Little Rock Online, we understand that life, work, and unexpected circumstances can sometimes get in the way of your goals; and that traditional education isn’t always the route every student will succeed in taking. You can finish your path to graduation.
Do you have a job, or two? Are you a single parent without a lot of extra time?
Don’t let your busy lifestyle limit your potential. We offer flexible schedules and work with each of our students one on one to ensure their success. We can work with you to come up with a plan of action too! Are you motivated to graduate early? Let us help you achieve that. Would you prefer to work at your own pace, without feeling rushed? No matter what your goal is on your path to graduation, we have a solution for you.
You Can Earn More Money With A High School Diploma vs. A GED®
Statistics show that those who have their high school diploma make anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000 more dollars per year than those who only have a GED®. It is worth the time and effort for any adult who does not have their high school diploma to work on acquiring it as quickly as possible. Whether your goal is to enter the workforce, go to college, or enlist in the military, a regular diploma is accepted as proof of graduation from high school. If you get anything less than a regular high school diploma, you will be limiting some of your options for the future.
Why Go Back To School When I Can Get A GED®?
The lack of a high school diploma is a substantial barrier to compete successfully in the workforce. Colleges and universities, businesses, and each branch of the United States military accept a regular high school diploma.
In order to attend college, a high school diploma or GED® is required for admission. Students who have a high school diploma and have demonstrated good grades will often be able to get financial aid that individuals with a GED® cannot get. In the business world, many entry-level positions require a high school diploma or GED®. Those with a diploma will often be hired before those who have a GED®.
At Quest Academy of West Little Rock Online, we strive to build community. Because of this, we also provide various opportunities for students to interact, both to enhance their learning and to socialize. Students can form lasting relationships, nurture teamwork, practice their communication skills, and have fun.
